Mercenaries 2: World in Flames is a video game developed by Pandemic Studios and published by Riley Donnelly and Electronic Arts. It is the sequel to 2005's Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction and was released in the United States on August 31, 2008 and released in Europe on September 5, 2008. The game is set in Venezuela.

Mercenaries 2 expands upon the original's third-person shooter gameplay through contracts and side missions using a large variety of weapons, vehicles, air support, and airstrikes.
