SWAT: Target Liberty (PSP)
SWAT: Target Liberty is a third person, tactical shooter video game developed by 3G Studios exlusively for the PSP. It was released on October 16, 2007 for North America, but has not been released in other areas.
The game is the first in the SWAT series to be released on the handheld and features a storyline written by Scott Rosenbaum, who has written for The Shield.
The game captures the heart-pumping action of real-life close quarters combat of specialized police units. The game is set in New York City where a special weapons and tactics team is tasked with thwarting an ever increasing number of international terrorist threats. Each officer in the unit has a specialty and using a unique skill system, the player can upgrade their individual combat expertise to increase their chances of success.
The game also features an ad-hoc multiplayer system which allows gamers to play in a variety of game modes.
